"Custom465 stainless steel for additive manufacturing" is a martensitic age-hardenable alloy capable of achieving ultimate tensile strength exceeding 250 ksi (1750 MPa) in the over-aged (H950) condition. It is designed to have excellent notch tensile strength and fracture toughness, providing advanced damage resistance against typical additive manufacturing defects such as micro-cracks and lack of fusion porosity.
